This 2010 release from John J features lovingly restored and remastered tracks from ‘Breaks, Works & Thoughts’, the most nominated album at the 1973 Australasian Radio Awards (now ARIA Awards); the hit single ‘Play Mumma, Sing Me a Song’, which also took out Best Song/Composer of the Year Award and ‘Simple Ben’, the iconic surf anthem from the Platinum-selling soundtrack album, ‘Morning Of the Earth’ as well as selections from John’s critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Rock n’ Roll Refugee’ and his highly sought after 1974 releases, ‘Open Fist’ and ‘Wassa Matta’.
